Welcome to Wiser Ways!
Welcome to Wiser Ways! I’m your host (or guide), Sheila. I have a wealth of experience and ideas that I will share with you. Together, we can take a journey towards Wiser Ways of Living. I already do a lot of things the Wiser Way, which I’ll share first. I will also explore more ways for me to live even wiser. I love to learn! When I can, I will back my experience with relevant research.
I plan to cover various topics related to Wiser Ways of spending money, spending time, spending physical energy, and improving the health of yourself and your loved ones – generally finding Wiser Solutions. I want you to make the wisest decisions for you, so you can build the life you want. Imagine a life with more money, more time, better health, and better relationships!
My reason for writing this blog is to help as many people as I can, in the best way I can. I wish to leave this place better than I found it, one decision at a time. I care deeply about people and the environment.
I am a wife, a mother of three, a self-proclaimed Sustainability Nerd, a volunteer Board Member with two local Non-Profit Organizations, a lifelong learner, a Wire Jewelry designer/creator, and a Substitute Educational Assistant. In the past, I was a Town Councillor.
I enjoy spending time with family & friends. I love to help people. I am passionate about spending time and money wisely. I enjoy a variety of crafts. I express myself creatively, through various forms of art. I love to solve problems, and learn new skills. I believe in, and practice, doing the right thing, even when no one is looking. I often ask myself, “Is this sustainable?”, when I am making decisions.
In the spirit of transparency, many of my posts will have affiliate links to products I believe in, most of which I use in my own home. I do this to help you spend money and time more wisely, usually by saving you time or money, while I make a small commission to help offset some of the cost of my website. I also have an online store, where I sell my hypoallergenic, non-toxic, hand-crafted jewelry.
I hope that we can get to know each other, support each other, and have a bit of fun along the way, too. Please feel free to contact me with questions, suggestions, or feedback!
